Baby used to love this, not anymore. By pet During my baby’s first month, she absolutely loved this. But now, she hates it. I tasted it and it’s bitter. Get ones that only require 1 drop instead of 1 oz. Spare your child the pain.

Stay away from this! By Bonhoeffer The only reason why D-Vi-Sol and Tri-Vi-Sol are still commercially successful is clearly due to the unholy alliance between big pharma and pediatricians. Our kids are breastfed, so they need Vitamin D. We tried Tri-Vi-Sol, then D-Vi-Sol — in both cases, the babies got cranky, gassy and were constantly throwing up. I’ve heard the exact same complaint from five other parents. And that’s not exactly surprising given all the unnecessary chemicals they mix into this — artifical color??? Citric acid?? Artifical flavor?? The good thing is that there is an alternative that is not only all natural but also much cheaper on a daily basis: Carlson’s Vitamin D drops for babies. Pure conentrated Vitamin D, one drop on a pacifier is enough — the babies don’t even notice it and we haven’t had any complications with them ever since.

cherry flavor By Nut81 The first time we bought d-drops for a newborn, we went with the cheap generic OTC d-drops. Our newborn didn’t like the taste at all and protested it greatly. However, the enfamil d-drops have a cherry flavor that she sucks right down. Maybe a dollar more then the generics but well worth it.
