bigger plates more for older children with bigger portions

I thought these plates were going to be a little smaller. I think they are a little to big for my 7 month old at this point in time. I wanted a small dish with three sections to feed her three different foods at about an ounce each portion. These plates will hold almost 7 or 8 ounces I bet, so my small portions will be so shallow it would be hard to spoon feed. I guess when my baby gets older these will be better with her finger foods and larger portions, but until then I will be looking for another smaller plate to use. Oh and the fact that the non-slip base is not included just means that my cheap little plates just got more expensive, more than I was looking to spend. Oh well, the pink color is nice…
